Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data SellOnDM, a service of Computer Healthcare, collects, why, and what you can do about it. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. What we collect
From buyers: your name, delivery address, PIN code and mobile number, what you ordered, and the UTR or payment screenshot you send.
From sellers: your mobile number and password, your store's name and link, your UPI ID, UPI number and QR image, your business phone and address, your products and their photos, and the address proof you upload.
From everyone: your language choice, and your IP address, which we use only to stop abuse.
2. Why we use it
To place your order and let the seller check your payment, pack it and deliver it; to show you your order's status; to approve stores and prevent fraud; and to keep the service secure.
We don't sell your data, we don't show advertising, and we don't track you across other websites.
3. Who can see it
Your order's details are seen only by that order's seller. To investigate problems, SellOnDM's administrator can see a buyer's name, the items and the payment reference, but not the buyer's address or phone number.
A seller's address proof can be opened only by SellOnDM's administrator, and every opening is recorded.
We may share data when the law requires it.
4. Services that handle it for us
Supabase stores our database and files, Vercel runs our website, and Resend sends our administrator emails about stores waiting for approval. When SMS updates are switched on, MSG91 sends them. Each handles data only to provide its service to us.
Some of these services store data outside India.
5. How long we keep it
Payment screenshots and postal receipts are deleted after 90 days.
A seller's address proof is deleted as soon as the store is approved. A rejected document is kept until the seller replaces it.
IP addresses used to stop abuse are deleted within a day.
Order records are kept so that sellers and buyers can deal with deliveries, refunds and accounts, unless you ask us to delete them and the law allows it.
6. Cookies and your device
Sellers and the administrator get a login cookie, so they stay signed in. For buyers, your browser keeps your order links and language choice on your phone, so you can come back to your order. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
7. Security
Everything is sent over an encrypted connection. Each seller can reach only their own data, payment proofs and documents are kept in private storage behind short-lived links, and passwords are stored only in hashed form.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To make a request, email us from the details below. For changes to an order, you can also contact its seller.
9. Children
Sellers must be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 should place an order only with a parent's or guardian's permission.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes, and the date above shows the latest version.
11. Grievance officer
For questions or complaints about your data, contact our grievance officer at Computer Healthcare: computerhealthcare1@gmail.com or er.ankush.patil@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
